  • Introducing A New Blog Series: Showcasing Proudly South African Skincare Brands!

As we know there are no shortages of skincare products on the market, but did you know that some of your most beloved skincare products might actually be local? Over the next few weeks I will showcase local skincare brands you may or may not know about.
I take skincare very seriously and I really try to look after my skin by using good quality products that suit my skin needs.  Let’s face it, I’m going to have to look at this face in the mirror for the rest of my life. When I buy skincare products I see it as an investment and therefore I don’t mind paying for quality. Lately I have been a bit obsessive when it comes to my skin and have decided to to take super extra care of it. I guess turning the big 4-0 has something to do with it. I started enjoying treatments such as chemical peels, dermaplaning, sheet masks, and I’m considering micro-needling in the near future.

Because of my passion for skincare I’ve been wanting to do this new blog series for a very long time. I feel very strongly about supporting local brands, and I am hoping to find some new gems and share them with you. Our local brands have some amazing products which are produced locally with only the finest ingredients.
Stay tuned for the first part of the new blog series to learn more about these brands, their products, and what I think of them.
What skincare products do you currently use, and are any of them local? Let me know in the comments below!
    Lots of Love
