Yikes! My 40th Birthday is just a few weeks away!!! Time really goes by so fast, and before you know it you are all grown up. I can remember my 30th birthday as if it was yesterday, but clearly it was almost ten years ago!
To be honest thirty nine has been a phenomenally good year for me. It has been a year of self-discovery and growth for me in all areas of my life. I learned so much about myself and have grown in leaps and bounds. I took back control of my life and learned that I have to love “Me” first, and take care of “Me” first above anything else. I’ve been blessed with a guardian angel in human form who goes by the name of husband. He has made my days lighter and so much brighter. He challenges me in a good way, and always cheers me on in whatever I do.
This is just a fun wish list for myself and who knows maybe my husband takes a hint or two LOL. What better time for my ultimate wish list post than now?! I have never made a birthday wish list before, but I decided to do one as this is a milestone birthday after all. What does a woman turning 40 (Well, me anyway) want?
So in no particular size, price or order, these are just a few things I have added to my 40th Birthday Wish list …
1. Brasil Cacau Accelerator Iron – R1230
I love the convenience of a flat iron because I really need all the extra help I can get when it comes to styling my hair. I had a Cloud Nine that died on me while honeymooning in South America. In all honestly who worries about having straight hair while in Rio! I also had a GHD as a backup but that one died on me too. I recently bought a Babyliss out of sheer desperation and wanting to save money. It works well for many people but to be honest it really does not do the job for me. So I really, really, really want this magic wand for hair!:-) It is between the Cacau or Silver Bullet so this might be at the top of my birthday wish list.
2. Blvlgari Omnia Amethyste Fragrance – R1150
I was gifted with a bottle of Bvlgari Omnia Amethyste and I instantly fell in love. This is my absolute favourite fragrance, and it will be for many years to come. I do have a few other favourites but this one tops the list. It is the epitome of elegance and sophistication and has a combination of floral and woody notes. This Bvlgari Amethyste perfume comes in a pretty purple compact bottle.
3. Mangwanani Revitalisation Day Spa – R1649
Ok!, so I have been wanting to go to Mangwanani for the past 10 years. Somehow I just never seem to go, so needless to say this is a bucket list item too LOL! Here is what I will enjoy if this birthday wish becomes a reality.
Package includes: Welcome drinks on arrival, Delicious Light breakfast, Sumptuous Lunch with Desserts, Complimentary Bar, Six Luxurious Treatments, the use of the Mineral Spa Jacuzzi/ Mineral Pool (subject to the venue) & Relaxation time, Signature Amarula and Chocolate on departure.
4. Instax Mini 9 Camera – R1199
I wanted one when it was still the Instax mini 8, but never got one. Read below all the cool features and tell me this won’t be a great buy! By the way, I want the Pink one please!:-)

5. Little Black Bag Monthly Subscription – R249
6. Forever New Rosie Mac Coat Beige – R1499

Here is my random present addition, but I think it’s really pretty. Hubby and I will both get to enjoy it for years to come, so all the more reason why he should consider buying it for us!. We are in the process of having our building plans approved so a full home makeover is on the cards.
